Spider-Man 2 PS5 Console Covers Will Be in Stock Tomorrow

Ever since Sony announced the Spider-Man 2-themed PS5 console covers, they’ve been in almost absurdly high demand. While the PlayStation company seems to have produced a decent number of Spidey-themed DualSense controllers and PS5 consoles, the console covers have been all but impossible to procure. If you've had your hopes of obtaining covers dashed over the past few months, you will have at least on emore shot. Best Buy has announced it will have more stock of the console covers tomorrow, October 18 -- but the process of purchasing it will be a bit unusual.

How to Buy Spider-Man 2 PS5 Console Covers

Best Buy is releasing the new batch of Spider-Man 2 PS5 console covers exclusively through its mobile app. You can download it here for iPhone or here for Android. You’ll find the console covers in the “Drops” section of the mobile app, which you can find in the navigation bar at the bottom of the app’s main screen. That’s also where you can opt in for Drop Alerts to get a push notification when the item you’re after is available.

The app says Drops are available from approximately 11am to 6pm Eastern time, unless they sell out. Based on how quickly the PS5 covers have sold out in the past, it’s pretty much guaranteed to sell out quickly this time as well. You’ll want to have the app open and be ready to buy right when they become available.

Additionally, the Spidey-themed PS5 console will be available as a Drop on October 19, and the Spidey-themed DualSense controller will be available as a Drop on October 20. Good luck.
