5 Years Later, I Still Haven’t Emotionally Recovered From Kingdom Hearts 3

Like almost any child born in the ‘90s, I was obsessed with all things Disney. When Mulan came out on VHS I would watch it, rewind it, then immediately watch it again. There was only one other thing I’d obsessively spend that much time on: Final Fantasy. After my introduction to Final Fantasy VII, I played it no less… Read more... http://dlvr.it/T27XMk

Mario vs. Donkey Kong: The Final Preview

2004 was a great year for gaming on the go. The cargo shorts I wore were yet to become the much-maligned fashion no-no that they are today, and the Game Boy Advance SP was small enough to slip into one of my many baggy pants pockets while still leaving plenty of short-legged storage spare to hold my wallet, keys, and chunky flip-phone. As a result a significant amount of my gaming in those days was done on Nintendo handhelds, and one cartridge that traveled with me more than most was Mario vs. Donkey Kong. Fast forward to 2024 and, while I can’t quite squeeze a Nintendo Switch into one of the front pockets of my pants without walking with a noticeable limp, I can play a modern reimagining of Nintendo’s addictive puzzle-platformer complete with razor-sharp visuals, a bouncy orchestral score, and a number of welcome new quality of life improvements. I’ve only had my hands on the first four worlds of the Mario vs. Donkey Kong remake so far, but it’s already doing a great job of transpor

Bloodborne Kart Takes A Pit Stop Thanks To Sony Lawyers

There’s almost never any Bloodborne news. 30 Years Ago, A Gory Gaming Triumph Changed Pop Culture Forever

There’s a certain rarified echelon of video games that have birthed entire genres based on their innovation, and their fingerprints can still be spotted all over many games today. 5 Tips for Your First Palworld Base

Setting up a base is one of the very first things you’ll do when you’re getting started in Palworld. You’ll be building up your base throughout the game, so getting your location and layout right will save you plenty of headaches in the long run - here’s what we wish we knew starting out! Choose A Flat, Unobstructed Area After placing your Palbox down, you’ll see a large blue circle surrounding it - this is the buildable area for your base. You want this area to be as free as possible of any hills, cliffs, water, or other obstructions. You’ll need a lot of space for the structures and buildings you’ll eventually want to construct, some of which can be pretty large. As Pals wander around your base diligently working, they have an unfortunate tendency to get stuck and become unable to move, eventually becoming hungry, tired, and unwell. The clearer your base is, the less likely this is to happen! Include Harvestable Resources Nearby If you have harvestable resources, li

Helskate Hands-On Preview: Skate or Die? How about Skate AND Die?

Even when it's messy and doesn’t feel like all the systems are fitting together perfectly, every bit of Helskate makes it obvious that I've never played a game quite like this before. Its unique cocktail of procedurally-generated progression, skating games of yesteryear, and beat ‘em ups is fun and frantic, and the brief time I spent with it has me very curious about what other tricks this one has in its arsenal. http://dlvr.it/T1spTH
